Randi Clark – Photographer / Videographer / Horse Enthusiast
Randi was raised in central Texas riding horses with her four siblings on the trails and farmland surrounding her Texas home. She developed a love for horses of every breed, color and size while dreaming of a way she could express this passion for horses and the real life necessity of a viable career. She discovered photography and videography would combine her love for horses with an outlet for her artistic expression and a self-owned sustainable business. This decision created an opportunity to see high quality horses, meet interesting people and travel to far off lands! She has enjoyed the great fortune of living close to a world-class Arabian farm and developed an affinity for these beautiful and majestic horses.
Randi has been professionally photographing horses for twenty-five years and still relishes every day, whether she is on the farm of Arabians Ltd., working as videographer and photographer, and advising clients on everything from their breeding programs to investment opportunities in the horse world or on a plane loaded down with cameras and imagining that next cover shot. Her business shares time with her husband Greg and the raising of her 14-year-old daughter, Abbi and her special friend, the gelding Lucky, who has been with Randi for 20 years and still enjoys a bareback ride down by the Brazos River or over to the Lakeside for a cool drink when their schedules permit. |
Her photo session to capture the pictures of The Cyclone took her on one of her most memorable trips. She traveled to South Africa, invited by the Arabian Horse Association to photograph the National show and by several breeders to take pictures of their horses in the farm settings. She traveled to five ranches throughout the country, constantly amazed by the beauty of the countryside and the quality of their horses. Jack Maritz was using the five time National Champion Stallion to work his sheep when Randi got to the farm. A short time later he was bathed and ready for his close ups!
With the advent and growth of the internet, Randi has expanded her focus to include the full production of high quality video presentations, stallion and farm videos. Randi’s love of horses is her driving force and her ability to capture those special moments keeps her very busy! |
